(Not) Wyoming Update

So I mentioned that I will be immanently leaving this hellhole. Well that's been pushed back a few months but I can still see the speck of light at the end of the tunnel.

Anyhow I talked to my sister and the houses they are looking at all have walk-in closets.

Wyoming Frustrate

Have I mentioned lately how amazing my brother-in-law is? He brought these home for my sister and I. She's on a diet, so these are for me! He knows me so well. 

Am I a Sociopath?

So I was reading this mediocre book where the protagonist is a privileged white girl who hates the fact that her parents don't want her to starve to death. I guess I was meant to empathize with the main character but I just couldn't stomach it (get it?!). 

More nachos for me! 

Does it make me a bad person that I not only didn't care a jot for the girls' plight but I ate an entire box of Annie's Cheddar Bunnies while reading this book? Did I not connect with this character because she was a whiny spoiled brat or because the book wasn't written very well?

The R L Stine Public Library

Hey public library. This is the start of a Goosbumps where I get stuck in the Library overnight and have to fight off the horde of creepy ghost dolls. Then I die just before dawn and the librarians find my body in the periodicals surrounded by dolls with sunken in faces. 

In summation please remove this monstrosity before I die.

Wyoming Update

Since I am naturally a bit of a recluse, and I haven't had access to a motorized vehicle as of late, I've been spending a lot of time around the homestead. Last week it rained, hailed, snowed, then rained again. All in the same afternoon. But today it was bright, sunny, and not so windy that your eyelashes are whipped away.

Sister and I decided to head out to the mountains. It was a rousing success! We encountered mountain goats, horses, deer, cows and gophers. But we got to witness most of the nature from the comfort of the car; which is the best way to experience nature. No bugs, temperature control and leather seats. Ah, nature.

 In two places at once! 

She did not want to leave.

Wyoming Update

Since it is snowing furiously here, now is a good time to make an announcement.

I am moving! Bye Wyoming! I'm heading back to the balmy Midwest!
